Colosseum Battle Menu [MV]

Colosseum Battle Menu

This plugin will help developers create a Colosseum battle menu for players to select troops to fight and earn various rewards. You can define multiple categories that will contain the available troops for your players to fight. They can then earn items, weapons, armour, or gold by defeating each troop. Setup multiple difficulties for your players to tackle for any given troop and use states from the RPG Maker database to enhance actor or enemy stats to make battles harder. You can also make certain rewards one-time only or repeatable for the player. For users that want to get even more out of this plugin, there is a pro version with many more features and customization options available to you for buying a commercial license and supporting the plugin’s author.

Features

  • You can change various settings related to placement and dimensions for each window in the Colosseum Scene. You can even select the background music that’s played while the scene is active.
  • Create custom categories that contain all the available troops for your players to fight. Decide which categories will be available from the start by setting the default unlock status.
  • You can reference troops straight from the RPG Maker database to add to each of your categories. Each troop can have its own unique background music or background images used for the battle. Just like custom categories, you can set the default unlock status for each troop. Furthermore, you can set which troops become available once a particular troop is defeated.
  • Setting up troops that require certain actors to participate in the battle is simple; just refer to their database ID and fill in the plugin parameter.
  • You can setup the Colosseum Battle plugin to use as many difficulty settings as you want for your game. When players select the difficulty they want to attempt for any given troop, you can use states from the database to inflict different status effects at the start of the battle. By using RPG Maker’s built-in trait system, you can affect things like the base stats for both actors and enemies.
  • You can give your players different rewards for defeating troops on every difficulty. Additionally, you can make certain rewards repeatable or one-time only.
  • Display a custom rewards window at the end of each battle to let your players know what they’ve received for defeating the troop.
  • When a new troop is unlocked, there will be another instance of the rewards window displaying it to the player at the end of the battle. [PRO]
  • Alter how many experience points the player receives for beating troops on higher difficulties by changing the Exp Modifier parameter. [PRO]
  • Hide enemy names in the battle information window until the troop is defeated. [PRO]
  • Choose how you want the actors to be displayed in the party selection window (character sprites or face graphics). [PRO]
  • Troops that have been defeated will have faded-out text to signify this to the player. [PRO]
  • Show the players a help window that displays text related to selections the player is trying to make. Text can be changed in the plugin parameters for each window. [PRO]
